My bearded dragon id say is approximately 4 months old, my friend has a beardie who she thinks is abt a year maybe more we introduced them to eachother and they were fine they spent lots of time together, we took them out and they were together all day later on we were outside my beardie was facing one way and hers was facing mine so it could see his whole body from the side i saw her looking at him weird do i went to grab him and bam her beardie grabbed my little guys face it was a quick bite but my little guy intstantly puffed up and then started like rolling as if unbalanced or like seizing i examined him it doesn’t look like she crushed his scull everything looked normal but there is almost like a bruise mark where she got him, he had a drop of blood on the site nothing serious and his one eye wont open and is swollen, im hoping it’s just swollen shut and will be fine in a few days, im thinking that could be partly why he seemed unbalanced bc he cant see out of that eye, he was alert and new i was there knew when i was talking and holding him, hes now home in his enclosure sleeping he was supper dark colored from stress and ik he is tired so im letting him sleep bc i tried getting ahold of so many vets and nobody wants to help and im not sure if theyd be able to do much but if he is gonna pass i just dont want him to suffer, pls dont shame me i already blame myself. any tips on what i can do for him at home to make him comfortable or if you know what could

Get some raw unfiltered honey on the wound - no crickets in the tank -- get your temp in the tank to around 80 over night -- your gonna need a CHE or maybe a heat pad in the tank but you will need to cover the pad in case he sits on it you dont want to burn him - your looking to get the ambient temp up I am gonna flag Tracie our vet tech shes on late at night- she can help you better than I --- NO more togetherness w/ the dragons --- they are solitaire animals -- here is a website to find a reptile vet if you are in a small area type in a bigger cities zipcode www.arav.org

Hello,

Oh so sorry that happened. Things like that happen very quickly. As Karrie suggested, try the raw
unpasteurized honey on the eye, because it's safe to use on the eye as well as in it too.
For now, do keep him a little warmer overnight to help boost his immune system. Usually the temperatures
for overnight are best around 75--80F.
Is he alert overall right now? If his beard isn't black & his breathing is normal & not erratic then it wouldn't
appear he is in shock or distress.
Keep us posted on him.

today he is much more alert and moving around, he even had the swollen eye slightly open, he crawled onto my hand when i was petting him and talking to him but hes seeming to keep his body curved to one side, he definitely is still weak and needs much more rest but seems like hes gonna pull through

he seems alert but cant fully open eyes his beard is black which i assume is from the pain ik hes probably in even if she didnt bit him hard which we dont think she bit to hard, the rest of his body tho is light colored when normally if hes stressed his belly gets super dark too, he’s keeping his body curved a bit and seems really tense im hoping after rest it will loosen up bc he is now trying to move around a bit but is quite weak, i have a ceramic heat light which i kept him under all night he pulled through the night so im assuming that there no brain bleeding bc i feel like it wouldve took him then, the honey is okay to put in his eye? anything i can do abt the swelling? or pain meds, the vets kinda not an option so i just need home remedies, im prepared to take care of him if he survives but has difficulties, i love him so much and dont want him in pain

Please post a pic of him- his uvb and surface basking temps are extremely important - No coils for uvb and surface basking temps need to be taken w/ a digital probe thermometer- Tracie can better help here w/ the medical care and yes you can use the honey on his eye- you can water it down a little w/ some warm water and apply w/ a q tip-

Hello,

How is he doing today? I hope that he is feeling better, bless him.
That's great you are using a T5 tube bulb, which brand is it? Definitely keep him a little warmer over
the night, to help boost his system since his body is trying to recover.
As Karrie suggested, thin the honey down some with water so it is less viscous when you make the
eye drops. If the eye is still swollen, you can also try getting some chamomile tea bags, & warming one
up & then placing it over the eye but ensuring it isn't too hot. Leave it on for 5-10 minutes.

Let us know how he is doing.

What are these 2 uvb bulbs? The T 5 is sufficient - is the T 5 in the tank? It needs to be 12-15 inches directly above the basking decor piece

I would hold off on the bath for now - you can rinse his eye w/ some regular saline solution to get the crust off of it - the Arcadia is a good bulb that is the only one you need for UVB - the basking light should be a solid clear bright white bulb -

Hello,

Great, the T5 Arcadia tube is an excellent UVB light. How is his eye looking today? I hope he is
improving for you & that he is able to keep his eye open more. Hopefully there wasn't any major
damage to his skull or head area.

My baby beardie likes to sit in their water bowl. I'm curious on whether it would hurt them or not.
Any thoughts an knowledge will be helpful. Thank u
Im needing some questions answered about my female beardeddragon, I honestly have no idea on age , she was a recuse, as ive had a couple in my life an have experience. So 9 weeks in , she earing well pooping well getting comfortable, then approx 3-4 days ago the digging started. So I got a dig box set up in her 75 g tank. Well within 2 hours she dropped an egg. Now only one egg an its been 10 hours.shouldiBworried

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
