    Arcadia bulb placement

Thank you for the responses! His uv is only above his tail in this pic, so I may have to do the 45 overlap?

    Arcadia bulb placement

My arcadia bulb is on the back part of his his viv. He typically basks in this odd position. I really wonder if I need to move his uv tube in a 45 degree angle?

    Gone for 2 months!

Best news ever! So very glad to hear a happy ending. Too bad your guy can't talk and tell you all of the adventures he went through before finding his way back home.

    PLEASE HELP!! What IS this?!

If it is anything like human ringworm, after about five days, you should be good...despite the 30 day recommendation, it will probably clear up pretty quickly. I can't find any good literature on this. Good for you for getting your baby to the vet!

    PLEASE HELP!! What IS this?!

Interesting. I didn't want to say anything, but in the past my three kids that were in daycare got ringworm and it looks very much like your bearded dragon's lesion. I had no idea that it looks the same on beardies (inner healthy area with white periphery). Hoping it's an easy topical...

    Only eating greens during shed?

Stellar that your guy is eating his greens! Many owners would like to be in your shoes! I would capitalize on his current love of greens: every morning, only greens. Happy for you, because this is a typical struggle, and your guy is enjoying his greens, is a huge victory!

    Manuka honey...wow!

So my guy has an area of raw skin on his area below the nose from trying to get shed off of his chin. Looked through the posts (thanks XP29 and all) for the manuka honey suggestion. Healed almost 50% overnight. Pic of the original injury. Will post another tomorrow. Love this site!

Disclaimers Needed When Posting Graphic Pictures Please!

I agree. I am very sensitive to visuals. Beardie poop is fine, but death pics stay with me for a VERY long time. Thanks for posting this.

    Blood in beardie's poop(i think)

Stupid question...Is there a ceiling fan in his room? I couldn't find this in any of your posts, so apologies if it was addressed. My guy was glass surfing , and looked really frantic. Looking at my in viv videos, I could see shadows of my ceiling fan moving. I stopped the fan, and he calmed...

    Most common mistakes

Big mistake on my part, was buying a 40 gallon tank. If I could do things over again, I would have started with a 120 gallon...what a waste of money with the 40 gallon. Just my experience. They grow too quickly to mess with a small tank.
