To my knowledge, beardies don't poop unless they are very warm and comfortable. For my guy, that only ever happened when he was in the bath or in his viv. I had him out running around on the couch the other day, and he started pooping on the couch! Luckily we have a sheet on that couch, but it was still a shock.
So how can you tell if yours needs to poop? I'm afraid to let him run around on any carpet or soft materials (my bed, my car, etc.) for fear that he'll poop unexpectedly. Any advice?
On another note, how do you tote yours around when taking him for a car ride or for a short outing? Loose, in his own little holder, etc.?
