Being a Brat

For the past week, Pookie had been a big brat with eating his food. He won't eat his supers unless I hand feed them to him, but I had to hold the worms by the head otherwise he won't eat them.

Well, I got fed up with this spoiled brat behavior and told him this morning that if he didn't eat all of his yum-yums, he won't be able to come out to play and that I meant it. Guess my insistence upsetted him because instead of sitting around on either his tree branch or the stairs, Pookie decided to sulk & bury his head between the dinosaur's feet and went to sleep - for an entire day. He never once moved a muscle until about 7:30pm - when he propped his head on one of the dinosaur's feet (guess he was losing air :roll.

What a brat!

Didn't they tell you that when you buy a beardie, you have to get your spine removed? :lol: I can't believe how big he is now! He's enormous!

I did get a glare then sad beardie eyes after I told him ". . . and I mean it!" It was shortly after the sad beardie eyes that he went sulking between dinosaur's feet.

Had no idea he understood that much :silent:

Oh no... what you don't know is he has a two way communicator to Tatsu under that is he is planning your take-down! Lindy told me or I should say Lindy was talking in his sleep and told me.

Seriously though - who knew a dragon could throw a temper tantrum

Pookie never ceases to amaze me :roll:. Last night, as I had him sleeping on me while I watched TV, he kept poofing up his beard and entire body - in his sleep! Normally, he'd sleep all contorted, but when he was poofing up, his body was straight as a board. At first I thought he was just stretching, but when I closely observed him and his eyes, I soon realized that he was still asleep and was dreaming.

The only other time he had done something like this in his sleep was sometime last year when I had yelled at him. For the first time ever, he headbobbed in his sleep. So what does all this mean? He was "acting out" his annoyance at me for yelling at him and not bowing down as a beardie slave should.

BRAT!

Poor Pookie?! What about poor me?! I was probably getting yelled at and beat up in his dreams. Don't I get any sympathy?
