Identifying a morph

Okay I'm new to breeding Bearded Dragons. So far I've hatched 2 healthy clutches BUT I'm still getting into identifying the morphs. I was wondering if there are any books that can help with this ? Right now I have 2 female dragons, a baby (too small to sex) and now 2 males because I just got a male yesterday as an early birthday present (birthday's Sunday.) The new male I got is very very large compared to my other 3 year old male bearded dragon. He's about 4 inches longer, fatter, and waaay bigger head size. The lady told my mother (who got him for me) that he is a German giant. I heard there was no way identifying this unless you seen the parents. This guy is ready to breed. If he even sees me holding one of my females, his beard turns a very solid black. So my other question is , can he be bred with an Inland female if he is a German giant or is it best to get another German giant female if I want him to breed (or very large female lol) ? He is in shed right now but looks like he has a very yellow color wirth some pink, orange tint.

Genetically speaking, breeding a German Giant with a regular inland should result in offspring about 50/50 that are Giants. Here's some websites that might help a little. http://www.beardeddragons.biz/color%20morphs.htm

Recessive genetic disorders include:
Hypo: Clear nails mostly light pigments
Translucent: Some clear skin
Silkback: 2 leatherback's babies
Leucistic: Pure white even as hatchlings

Dominant genetic disorder:
Leatherback: Smoother skin that feels like leather

Hope this helps. :D

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
