In ours there is a slight gap between the tank wall where there is no carpet and the glass shows and my little one likes to snuggle down in that gap and lay on the glass.

My beardie does this when he gets pissed at the cat watching him for to long. funnyst thing in the world cat jump half a mile the first time he did it :D

My dragon does this too but he only does it before bed when his lights turn out and he can see our lights through a gap in his back ground.

See what I am looking to do is only use just enought sand to partialy fill in the tile gaps so that it wont flow over onto the tiles in the hopes that this would be less risk for ingestion. the tile gaps are very narrow and i shouldnt need to used very much sand.
