If they are in full brumation, you can either leave all lights on, turn the basking bulb off but keep the UVB on, or shorten the light cycle. If they are in semi-brumation I would leave all lights on or shorten the cycle

A lot of people leave the lights on.
For Kamo's first year, I left the lights off for most of his period.
He seems fine; it's been about 3 months and I've turned the lights back on.

He's taking water & adapting well...Let's see how it goes.

Hello,

I think a lot of us leave some type of light on during brumation, or semi brumation just so they can
have some type of day/night cycle.
They do well either way, it just depends on the dragon as to whether or not they decide to come in
& out often.
