Tiki just had her FIRST TWO superworms. There may have been eight total chews for each worm. She is between 16.5 and 16.75 inches (she REALLY wants to play right now).

I'm just worried she may not have chewed enough - she inhaled them!!!!!!!! They freak me out on a MASSIVE level, so my sweet husband washed off all of their material and fed them to her.

I just don't want them to still be alive. And yes, I'm neurotic - make fun of me at will.

Psh, Naughtica bites like twice and swallows lol.

You don't need to be worried, im sure. Place a superworm in water and see what happens. They almost immediately die lol. Thats what happens when it hits there stomachs.
I assume you are worried because you've heard stories of a superworm eating through a dragons stomach? Well, you don't have to worry about it, your dragon will be fine :p

Yes.

Bless you Brandon. Thank you. After she got her MASSIVE wiggles out, she's basking now after dinner. We gave her two - what does Naughtica usually have for dinner? I've heard a good average is five or so?

She usually will get maybe 7 or 8 every other day since she is 4 years old, but since she has lost a lot of weight, she has been getting 5 per day.

If you have a young dragon still growing, you can feed like around 10 a day or so IME, but if the dragon is still hungry, you should give a different feeder after the superworms since they are pretty high in fat.

I got them just to see if she's like them. She's a rescue, so we're still trying to get some weight on her. We rescued her in May and she was just shy of 15'' - now she's at least 16.5 (if she's stop playing, it could be longer - I gotta do that when she's asleep).

She can eat 30-40 smaller crickets a day. And that's not in a 10-15 minute period - it's more like... three. Or four. Thanks for the quantity advice :)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
