I think my babies have just started fighting!

I understand thatm many of yous have said that you should never house 2 bearded dragons together, unfortunately I didn't join this forum til after I bought them. The person in the pet shop said they'd be fine, never trusting him again! About 5 minutes ago one of them had the other ones tail in its mouth and wouldn't let go and the other one was running away from it, I had to pull it off. Unfortunately I have nowhere else to put it for the night is there anything I can do to lessen the chance of anymore fighting tonight? maybe feed the one who was chasing it some crickets or something? Please help. It doesn't seem hurt or anything they could maybe be playing I have no idea what do yous think?

Maybe you could put it in a tote, just for the night... just put another light over it to give it some warmth... I don't know, but I would be figuring something out. Good luck. Sorry to hear one got hurt.

try the tote thing or try finding something to put in the current tank as a divider until you can get another tank

I agree! Separating them is your only option. Sorry... but they were not playing and unfortunately, next time it could be worse
A tub or container of some sort or a divider in the tank are great ideas, like mentioned above!

I totally agree with the above posters. There is no option at all, unfortunately. The next time that happens, it could be much worse.
If you have a large plastic tub/bin, it would be a good idea to put one of them in there until you can get a permanent setup for him or her.
I am sorry that the pet store did not inform you of the housing for them properly. It happens all of the time.
Now, about the tail. Is it bleeding? You will need to keep it clean with diluted betadine, & put some antibiotic ointment on it as well, daily to try & keep it from getting infected.

That is great news that you are saving for another tank!....Check around your local craigslist for some great deals. What did you decide to do as a temporary solution?
