My 3 year old female just laid a clutch for the first time??

Also, is yellow eggs normal? She laid a few that were white when I first noticed them, and then when I went to clean up after she was for sure done, they were all like bright yolk-y like yellow?

My 3 year old female just laid a clutch for the first time??

Thank you, and they are not fertile. She’s housed alone, and no males on the premise. I’m going tomorrow to go get her some playsand and big bin in case she resumes laying tomorrow. But I’ve seem to run into another problem just now… she ate them. I’m not sure how many in total she laid, but I...

My 3 year old female just laid a clutch for the first time??

Hey! Sorry, I’m slowly getting addicted to this site, so sorry for all of the questions the last couple days. Anyways, Inanna, my adult beardie, surprised me today by (completely unexpectedly) laying a clutch of eggs! She had been a bit off the past 2 days, just seeming a bit more tired, and...

Turnip, collard, and mustard greens every day?

She is 3 years! An adult. I give her roaches once a week dusted in calcium, so she has calcium powder once a week. I just worry about not giving her enough of it!

Turnip, collard, and mustard greens every day?

Okay great!! Should I give her calcium everyday though? She doesn’t eat her salads as well if I put calcium on it, so she’s mainly been having it on her bugs once a week. I think my vet said that was fine, but I’ve also seen a lot of people giving it once everyday.

Your good! Yep, cool side is reading about 74-77, and warm side is about 91- I’m trying hard to get that up to 97 which seemed to be her favorite temp.

Turnip, collard, and mustard greens every day?

Hey! Just a quick question, I worry non-stop about my beardie. I’m just wondering everyone’s opinions on feeding her a mix of collard, turnip, and mustard greens everyday for her daily salad? I’ve been wasting a bunch of veggies trying to figure out the perfect meal plan for her. My vet said...

Are you talking about coil uvb? If so, I do have the reptisun t5 high output uvb tube and the matching fixture. In the double dome zoo med fixture I have 2 heat bulbs.

3 high wattage bulbs and still not warm enough.

Lol. Yeah, it’s weird. I’m pretty sure it has something to do with the fact that none of the stuff in there retains like, any heat at all. Basking spot is about 12-16 inches or so from the lamp itself, as I have her uvb hung on the inside and I’d don’t want it to be too close, I do have one ac...

Hey, yes they do agree with watch other. The stuff in the enclosure does not retain heat as well as her wooden log and substrate would’ve, that’s for sure, but otherwise I don’t know why it wouldn’t be getting warm enough still with me upping the wattage. I do know the brands of everything minus...

I check them pretty frequently, but they stay The same even after 10 minutes. I appreciate your response, thank you!!

3 high wattage bulbs and still not warm enough.

Hey! Yes I will attach photos. I’d also like to preface by saying that I was closely monitoring her to make sure I wasn’t over heating her, i could feel the heat with my hands but my thermometers were not reading it. She seemed to also be feeling the heat as she would stay towards the basking...

Hey- I am using 2 digital probe thermometers, and I also do use a temp gun just to check on occasion, but yes, I have two digital probe thermometers on both ends of the enclosure.

Hey, so I’m relatively new, just got my beardie about a month ago as a bit of an unexpected rescue. I’ve been obsessively trying to make sure everything is as it needs to be, and it was. temps were perfect and she was basking nicely. until her vet appointment last week, she was diagnosed with a...
