Unknown mass on Xray any ideas?

Hey there,
So I took my Beardie into the vets today because she hasn't eaten for a week nor toileted. She has also gone off her food which is odd. She is a 9 year old dragon. I took her in today, because while not eating or toileting for a while isn't unusual for her, the fat reserves on her head have started to sink in. The vet was very helpful however, was not a specialist so is doing some research with colleagues in the field as to the results of her X-Ray. I thought I'd share it here too in case anyone could help identify the white mass near her right lung circled in red. Thanks in advance

I hope your girl will be O.K.
Did they do bloodwork, if so post that here as well. The glucose level and liver enzyme results are usually the ones that show problems. A very high , off the charts glucose can indicate a gastric tumor, I hope it's not that.....sadly those are not uncommon.

Thanks for the reply. No bloods were taken but I can take her back but would probably get referred for this. I tried a reptile very first but I got turned away because I'm registered at a different vet with my cat -. -

Hello,

Definitely try to get a blood test if possible, that would help. It does look like some type of mass, & I hope
it turns out not to be anything serious.
Let us know how things go. Were you able to get referred to another vet?

Hi there, it could be a tumor, but could also be an abcess. My girl Taro had an abcess in her stomach lining- vet said possibly due to a bolus that didn't digest properly and calcified. Her prognosis was fair-good post removal if it were not for her fatty liver 😔

Hi all
I'm sorry to have to post this, but Toothless has had to be put to sleep today. The mass in her stomach was fluid causes by peritonitis. The vet was unable to say the root cause but could see early signs of ovulation so it could be that she had issues that caused her to become impacted and then this.

I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
