Bearded dragon powders

I am so confused!! Do I need calcium power with D3 no phosphorus and another vitamin powder as well or just the calcium with D3 no phosphorus? Help please!?

Hello,

The supplementation of calcium with or without D3 is largely dependent on the type of UVB lighting
you are using. Most of the time, we recommend using plain calcium without D3 the majority of the
time especially if you are using a high output T5 tube bulb or a Mercury vapor bulb. It is fine to give
calcium with D3 once weekly routinely, if you would like but the rest of the times I would go with the
plain calcium without D3.
What type/brand of UVB lighting are you using?
For a vitamin supplement, I would recommend using one with beta carotene instead of synthetic
vitamin A & one that is calcium & phosphorus free.
